Dry Ingredients
3 Cups of Rolled Oats
1 Heaped Cup of Raw Nuts (Your favorite kind)
1 Cup of Sunflower/Pumpkin seeds
1 Heaped cup of Coconut Shavings
Zest of 3 Oranges
1 Cup of Dried Cranberries (Add once Granola has baked and cooled)
Binding Ingredients
1/3 Cup Organic Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup Rice Malt Syrup (or honey)
1/4 Hot Water
1 Heaped Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 Tsp Ground Ginger
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
Mix together all the dry ingredients. (Leave out the cranberries until granola is baked)
Heat together all the binding ingredients and give it a good stir.
Combine the binding ingredients with the dry ingredients.
Spread the mixture onto a baking tray and place baking tray in the oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take the granola out of the oven and give it a good stir. Place the granola back into the oven for another 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes your house should be smelling heavenly and the granola should be toasted. Once cooled add the cranberries to the granola.
Store in an airtight container, and serve with fresh fruit and your favorite yogurt!
